Switch the Pitch provides job opportunities, mentorship, and industry career experience to editors, journalists, photographers, videographers, and social media managers, giving them a platform to share their unique perspectives on the world of soccer.
What does it mean to ‘switch the pitch?’ In soccer, switching the pitch (or field) means to pass the ball a long way across the field. Attacking teams ‘switch the pitch’ if they aren’t having success creating offensive chances on the original side.
We believe that traditional sports media isn’t successful in connecting to all supporters or potential supporters. We are here to change the game of sports media by telling the story from a different perspective, effectively ‘switching the pitch’ of soccer media to be more inclusive and accessible.
